Introducing Lemforder Chassis Components, Part of the ZF Family
Your European vehicle is comprised of several thousand components. Most of these are manufactured by a third party that specializes in making that specific component. From electronics to heavy metal pieces there are several manufacturers that specialize in manufacturing and designing specific types of components.
Lemförder is a ZF brand that specializes in steering and suspension and rubber to metal components. Some examples of the parts that ZF manufactures for certain marques include control arms, ball joints, suspension bushings, subframe bushings, engine and transmission mounts, and tie rods. If you drive a BMW, Audi, VW, Saab, Porsche, Volvo, or Mercedes there is a really good chance that you have Lemförder components installed by the factory on your car.
Lemförder is original equipment on many cars and you’re probably wondering how you can tell if a component is manufactured by Lemförder. Well, I’ll let you in on a little secret. Every Lemförder component I have ever seen is stamped; this includes the parts installed on your vehicles from the factory, Genuine parts you would buy from a dealer, or the Lemforder parts you would buy from us. The Lemförder stamp is triangle with an owl inside. This is how you can tell who makes that particular component.
If you are someone who wants OE quality and wants to be assured that the parts that you are installing on your vehicle are top notch, Lemförder has been a favorite amongst enthusiasts. If you demand the best, there really is no other choice.
