Audi Cooling Parts

Audi’s headquarters is located in, Germany and is respected for manufacturing some of the most stylish luxury performance vehicles available in today’s market. They have created a history of innovation that has changed the auto industry. Audi’s four rings symbolize their progressive engineering that is still maintained today. Their tag line, "Progress through Technology", is the company’s ethos and the core belief that pushed their growth daily. It inspires their creative solutions, game changing engineering and intuitive designs that have become synonymous with the Audi brand. Inspecting each part of your Audi's cooling system is a great way to diagnose overheating issues. Audi only produces water-cooled internal combustion engines for vehicles. That being said, an overheating issue within your Audi’s engine is related to the coolant system. What is required is for your Audi to keep its coolant water at around 30 degrees below boiling or 180 degrees Fahrenheit. This permits the water to push your Audi’s engines extra heat away and to keep it from overheating. Basically, your cooling system consists of four major components, which are the radiator, water pump, cooling fan and thermostat. FCP Euro has an enormous catalog of Audi cooling parts and components, including a large inventory in general for the Audi brand.

Whenever your Audi starts to overheat or run warmer than it should, you should examine your radiator first. Make sure your Audi’s coolant is at the proper marker. If your coolant is too low, you should add more to the overflow tank on the side of your radiator. When your Audi’s engine is not running and the engine is still warm, loon beneath your radiator to see if there is any water leaking. The best thing to do is go through with this without the air conditioner running, as regular condensation dripping to the ground can be hard to subtract. You should also examine all of your Audi’s rubber hoses coming from the radiator to the engine block for leakage. Any loss of your coolant can force a hot running engine. There is a fan situated near your Audi’s radiator face that pulls air through to cool the hot water. Audi engines use electrically-powered fans, which are the opposite of fans that use serpentine belts on numerous older model makes. With your engine running, make sure the fan is working properly. If it is not, examine the wiring linkage powering the fan. If the wiring is working correctly, then replacing the fan is the only thing left to do.
